A charming Victorian villa, it is just 100 metres from the beach and just one mile from The Needles landmark attraction.There is cycle storage on site for those wishing to bring their bikes, and a dog-friendly section of beach opposite the building. Freshwater Bay Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away.We would definitely come here again! Gayle and Mark are wonderful hosts- there is nothing you could want for in the Sentry Mead- they have literally thought of EVERYTHING! The rooms are tastefully decorated, have mini-fridges, snacks and mugs for tea and bathrobes. Downstairs there is a bar room with drinks and snacks on the honour system and upstairs a Nespresso machine. The downstairs lounge is comfortable and inviting, as is the conservatory, terrace and garden area. You are a three-minute walk from the beach and trekking routes. There are restaurants and shops nearby as well as a bus stop, from where you can catch several different buses to explore the island. It is quiet and peaceful, but wonderfully accessible to tourist sights and other points of interest. And the breakfasts are outstanding!
