The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. The Culture and Convention Centre and the train station are only a 10-minute walk away.Beautiful elegant hotel well situated. Grand old hotel with all modern conveniences. Beautiful lobby and service was great except problems with repeated demagnetized key cards. Modern and well appointed rooms with large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Bed was comfortable. Nice little touches with complementary nuts, muffin and chocolates. Breakfast was fantastic with everything available. Elegant bar and dining room for breakfast. Nice patio outside to overlook Lake Lucerne.Overall little to complain about and much to laud. A true 5 star hotel.
