San Anselmo: Deluxe Double or Twin Room
Set in the chic residential Aventino area of Rome, San Anselmo is a 19th-century villa with garden, where breakfast is served in fine weather. It offers elegant rooms and overlooks Sant’Anselmo Church.We had the garden room. The setup, with the bathroom downstairs, is unusual but pleasantly surprised us. The room was big enough and decorated in a classical way that fits the style of the building. Breakfast was not special but sufficient. Location was perfect, a bit secluded but on walking distance to Trastevere.
