Palazzo del Senatore in Lazio, Italy
If You Are in a Hurry
Here’s a quick list of the best hotels in Lazio

Palazzo del Senatore

Set in a historical building in Atina, Palazzo del Senatore features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and free WiFi throughout. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer.I had the most pleasant week long stay at the Palazzo del Senatore to Celebrate the Wedding of my dear friends of 20 years. Alex and Daniel are fabulous, kind, and accommodating hosts. This Bed and Breakfast offers a daily and prompt continental breakfast with a breathtaking mountain view. Since this is a traditional Italian home dating as early as the 1700s there is marble wherever your eyes can carry you. Much like the town of Atina it is a historic gem, hosting an archway that dates 200 BC! How cool is that?! There are four restaurants in the town alongside a laundromat, fresh pasta store, pizza parlor, and plenty of places for wine & beer. You can grab some gelato by walking straight out of the door of Palazzo del Senatore and past the fountain. There's even a friendly community stray dog that is just as nice as the people of Atina! Beware this is a tight not community and everyone drives! There is only one taxi for the town, so it is suggested to give Alex or Daniel a heads up so they can assist you with coordinating. They know everyone!Besides the excellent stay....if you get a chance, take a tour through the town of Atina, which has extraordinary historical value to this region of Italy. Start by walking through the grand arch footsteps from the entrance of the hotel, follow the signs, and enjoy! From coordinating cabs to helping us prepare for the Wedding, Alex and Daniel were phenomenal hosts! I look forward to returning to relax and enjoy the Beauty of Italy and the warmth of the People in the near future. Ciao!
