The property is a 15-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station.We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Villa. Our hosts went above and beyond. Starting off with a free shuttle from the station we received detailed information around sights and restaurants in the area. The villa itself was spacious. The hot spring bath was also a great feature on a rainy day (though probably even better with a mountain view on a clear day). The villa is really close to the Asama Shrine and if you are lucky you can watch the sunrise over Mt. Fuji from the nearby lake shore. You can get breakfast from a food truck on premise if you don’t want to prepare it yourself. Overall a wonderful place to visit.
