Le Grand Hôtel Mont Dore
This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy. During winter, a free shuttle can take you to the nearest ski slopes. The thermal centre is just 200 metres away.The room had everything you wish for. Very clean and a beautiful view to the mountains. The hotel has a relaxing lounge and garden where you can just enjoying the surroundings or make friends with other guests. We were lucky to have the Tour De France going through town. The town itself has plenty of restaurants, shops and great for hiking, biking and running The lady at reception gave us a very warm welcome
