The sheets are crisp and white, the towels soft and the beds comfortable. The breakfast room is fully stocked all day long with anything you could possibly desire for a continental breakfast: not just cereals, but 3 different sorts of artisan breads, local luxury cheeses and smoked salmon, many different jams, honey, peanut butter, fresh fruit, and countless varieties of tea, coffee and drinking chocolate. Plus a range of dairy and plant-based milks. The house is slightly up a hillside overlooking much of Dunquin and has the most wonderful views of the sea and the Blasket Islands. Sunsets are a treat.Padraig is a fantastic host: so friendly, welcoming, an erudite mine of knowledge of local history and lore, helpful in terms of suggesting things to do and making phone calls to help you achieve them.
