This sustainable guest house features a building dating back to 2021, which is 19 km from the The Castle Gardens of Mey. The guest house features a hot tub and a shared kitchen.Easy to find and access, (you can see the house from the road as you enter the village) beautiful room with stunning sea view, very modern, spotlessly clean. We had room 1 on the ground floor, other reviews have cited privacy issues, people walking by to access the front door etc; well yes they do but it's hardly Oxford Street and there are some lovely blinds for night time. The bed was heaven!! It's not a traditional eggs & bacon b&b, breakfast is a basket of goodies (porridge, orange juice, pain au chocolat, biscuits,fruit) hot drinks are just outside the rooms in the hallway and there's also a communal fridge. The hot tub is shared between the rooms, there's an app to book a slot, we didn't use it but it looks lovely. We booked last minute and it was an absolute gem, close to John O' Groats (ordinary) and Duncansby Head (breathtaking).
