The black sandy beaches of Playa Santa Catalina Beach are just a 15-minute walk away. Casa Rural Maria is about 10 minutes’ drive from the Garajonay National Park, a Unesco World Heritage Site. San Sebastian de la Gomera ferry port is 20 km away.The hosts were simply amazing. I got the cottage as a present for my mother's birthday and the hosts were so incredibly generous as to decorate the whole place with balloons and flowers, get a birthday cake and a bottle of wine! That are the most caring people I could ever imagine... Melted my heart! And my mum loved her stay and the incredible peacefulness of the place.
