We very much regretted that we hadn’t booked a longer stay. The attention to detail and coziness of the house, the peacefulness and privacy of the garden, the smell of cut grass, trees and roses offer such rest and comfort. The location is perfect for exploring the villages of the area (Marvao, Castell do Vide, Portalegre..) or to make some of the many nature walks.The breakfast is just amazing: every morning they bring fresh bread that is left at the door, together with the homemade jam, sausages, free range eggs…the experience has been marvellous and we will return for another bit of heaven.
