This hotel is located in Bliesgau in the Saarland region, 25 km from Saarbrücken and 9 km from Blieskastel. It offers a spa with Finnish sauna, steam room, massages as well as free Wi-Fi.Hotel Bliesbrück Bliesgau is an ideal base for hiking, cycling, motorcycling and golfing tours in the Saarland or in the Alsace region of neighbouring France.The room is a good size with a big window and glass door onto a nice little balcony with a chair. Two single beds pushed together with two (small) single duvets! Bed was comfortable enough; slept well. Tele. Some of the room looks updated. The rest looks outdated. The 1970’s glass & brass lamp is ‘retro’ at best! Small things like this. The shower room and toilet has been refurbished to a high standard. Big glass shower cubicle with two headed shower. The second shower head on the side wall is in the way! Funky sink and impressive mirror and radiator. Everything very smart with stupid 1970’s plastic hairdryer! Why? Toiletries and towels. Plenty of hot water.Downstairs is a bar and restaurant. The receptionist/bar girl/waitress was wonderful. Very pleasant and helpful. The soups were lovely. The steak with pepper sauce too salty by far; but good portions. Krombacher beer if you interested. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of it at a good price. Gherkins!
