Barossa Valley’s Captain Rodda’s Cottage is located in Angaston. Set 47 km from Big Rocking Horse, the property offers a garden and free private parking.The spacious holiday home is fitted with 3 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with an oven, a microwave, a washing machine, a fridge and a stovetop. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. The accommodation offers a fireplace.The cottage is well presented and provided everything we required for our stay, from three roomy bedrooms, dining room, a well equipped kitchen, spa bath in the large bathroom and a wood fire in the cosy lounge. It is really dog friendly and has a large secure back garden for your pets to roam. It also provides a unique view into South Australia's early settlers and the Rodda family, with its collection of artifacts and memorabilia. It is in a great location in walking or driving distance to Angaston main street which was less busy than the busy main streets of Tanunda and Nuriootpa. It was also close by to the Barossa Farmers Market which is on every Saturday morning. The hosts were very helpful and provided a substantial continental breakfast.
