Our dogs were received with cookies and blankets to sleep on, that was so nice. The cabin (Glengarry) was absolute amazing, very clean, cosy and complete for a family with dogs and with stunning views over the sea, also from the terrace of our cabin. We could walk our dogs immediately from our cabin as some nice trails start around the corner. In the morning we saw a beautiful deer in the garden which was very special for us. The castle, museum and beautiful garden can be visited for free when you stay in the cabins and it is absolutely worth a visit. The ferry to Mallaigh is very nearby and it is possible to rent kayaks nearby. From Armadale it is easy to reach other nice locations on Skye, like Portree, Fairy Pools, Elgol, Old Man of Storr with beautiful drives over the Island.
