In winter the access to the cross-country ski runs and the ski lift are in the immediate vicinity. In summer the Karwendel Nature Reserve is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. You will receive a 20% green fee discount at the nearby 18-hole golf course.Location is great. Just a short walk to the Achensee and a block to bergbahn station which we took to go hiking. Great town if you don’t want to jump in the car all the time because it’s so walkable. Considering that there’s no restaurant, it’s great that you can order fresh bakery items at the front desk to pickup each morning.
